The Florida Parishes Arena was constructed to mainly hold equine events, but it is a true multipurpose facility. We host things such as cattle shows, tons of equine events, barrel racing, sortings, pennings. We have major rodeos that take place at the Florida Parishes Arena. We’ve had garden shows. We’ve hosted monster trucks. We’ve hosted wrestling. We also have things such as weddings, wedding receptions, proms in our event center.
We have the main arena, which is 220 by 110 in size. We have bleacher seating, permanent bleacher seating, which is about 2,500 people that it would accommodate. We have some portable bleachers. We have an announcer stand, 120 stalls. We have a full concession stand, restroom changing room facilities, an office structure. Those amenities had been put in place when the original facility was constructed. We also have 35 RV sites with a dump station on site. We have the event center that has a warming kitchen, an outdoor kitchen for cooking, and it’s a little over 5,000 square feet. The Florida Parishes Arena hosts a multitude of events throughout the year with the main arena itself and the event center. We want to invite the community, and the region, to come use our facility that we think it is second to none. And, it’s the only one of its kind in the Florida Parishes.
