PONCHATOULA — A portion of Sisters Road will be closed to thru-traffic this Saturday for tree-trimming operations which are being scheduled by a contractor working with Entergy.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Entergy asked the parish to allow them to close Sisters Road between Dunson Road and North Hoover Road this Saturday, July 18, between the hours of 7 a.m. and noon, because the roadway is very narrow for the tree-trimming crews and equipment that will be used that morning.
Miller said the contractor, B.D.G., will also complete debris removal from the operation during that same timeframe on Saturday.
All work is weather-permitting, and detours will be posted.
