AMITE—On Thursday, Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced temporary changes in the parish’s recycling and community service litter abatement program amid concerns over the COVID-19 situation.

Miller said that the parish’s recycling program will be closed temporarily as part of the COVID-19 procedures. 

In addition, the Community Service Litter Abatement Program has been temporarily suspended as part of the parish’s COVID-19 response. 

Miller said the parish will reinstate these programs as soon as possible. Updates on any changes in parish services will be posted on the website as well as all TPG social media outlets.
