AMITE—With an eye toward the future, Tangipahoa Parish residents are invited to participate in Thursday’s Community Design Meeting for the parish’s new comprehensive plan.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the Tangi 2045 planning meeting is scheduled on Thursday, June 29, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the Florida Parishes Arena Event Center in Amite.
“During this meeting, we will review the components that have already been submitted for this plan, and we will survey Thursday’s participants for their ideas on how we want to see Tangipahoa develop over the next two decades,” Miller said.
The public will be able to take part in fun and interactive modules that will help develop a vision, land use opportunities, and capital improvement goals for our parish’s future.
“We are counting on our residents to help us develop a plan that will make Tangipahoa Parish the best parish in Louisiana—not just today, but also moving into the generation,” Miller said.
