Roseland Incident Response Update: September 7, 2025

Progress continues in the Roseland Incident Response. As of Sunday, September 7, we can report:

  • Fire is at 99 percent containment. US Fire and Pump has demobilized and Williams is tasked with fire watch operations at the site.
  • All tanks in the footprint of the facility have been opened, cut, and laid.
  • Booming and recovery efforts continue along the Tangipahoa River. 500 feet of containment boom was removed from areas where it is no longer necessary on Saturday.
  • Collection of materials at the large pond continues. This is a 24-hour/day operation.
  • No change in air monitoring readings.
  • Disposal of collection frac tanks begins today (Sunday). This process will likely take several days.
  • No injuries have been reported throughout this incident recovery process.
