Road closures will continue until further notice at locations below, on US 51 and LA 10 in Roseland, LA, due to the on-going multi-agency response to chemical release in the area.
Full Road Closures: US 51: from LA 1048 to North Avenue
LA 10: from US 51 to E. Russell Town Rd. (includes Tangipahoa River Bridge)
Permit Information: Full road closures.
Detour Information: Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the road closures:
- Motorists traveling US 51 south may take LA 1048 west to I-55, then south to LA 16 (Exit 46), then east to re-intersect US 51.
- Motorists traveling US 51 north may take LA 16 west to I-55, then north to LA 1048 (Exit 50), then east to re-intersect US 51.
- Motorists traveling LA 10 east may take US 51 north to LA 440, then east to LA 1054, then east to LA 1058, then south to re-intersect LA 10.
- Motorists traveling LA 10 west may take LA 1058 north to LA 1054, then west to LA 440, then west to US 51, then south to re-intersect LA 10.
