- Recovery operations continued at all four ponds Friday night. Crews utilized eight collection points. There are now five collection points on pond D-1. The EPA continues the 24-hour/day operation with 20 vacuum trucks operating overnight at the ponds for oily waste recovery.
- EPA is using multiple skimmers to maximize efficiency in recovery. Among the devices being used are Manta Ray skimmers, Foliex skimmer, felt drum skimmers, and rope mop (pom) skimmers.
- To date, 4,994,000 gallons have been shipped off for disposal.
