Progress continues on the Roseland Incident Response. Through Saturday morning, we can report the following updates:

- Recovery occurred at Ponds D-1, D-2, and D-3 overnight. At Pond D-4, decanting operations continued throughout the night.
- EPA is using multiple skimmers to maximize efficiency in recovery, including felt drum skimmers and rope mop skimmers. There were 18 skimmers operating overnight.
- A total of nine vacuum trucks operated overnight at the pond for oily waste recovery.
- There was no excavation of the LA 10 ditch during nighttime operations on Friday night.
- Continued decanting from four frac tanks. There are a total of 68 frac tanks containing oil water from the pond operations that will be evaluated for decanting operations.
- On Saturday, EPA will hold office hours at the Hammond Air Show and the Dollar General store in Roseland.
- LDEQ continues to conduct ambient air monitoring with the Mobile Air Monitoring Laboratory near the Ponchatoula Fire Department. There has been no change in air monitoring readings through early Friday.
