HUSSER—A portion of Smiling Acres Road will be closed today (Friday, April 12) for road maintenance.
Parish President Robby Miller said Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews will close Smiling Acres Road at its intersection with East Bell Road starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 12. Crews will be changing a cross drain culvert, and work should be completed by approximately 2 p.m. that day.
All work is weather-permitting. No thru-traffic will be allowed during the construction period.
