Tangipahoa Parish’s Pavement Preservation contractor will continue sealcoating work on a number of local roadways during the week of July 27.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the contractor is scheduled to perform sealcoating on Friendship Church Road, Turnpike Road, Hendry Road, Wares Road, Virginia Road, Spitale Road, Woodhaven Road, and Booker II Road this week.
The sealcoating process is weather-contingent, and work cannot progress if roadways are wet.
Motorists are urged to use alternate routes, if possible, while crews are working. Intermittent delays are possible during construction periods, and all work is weather-permitting.
