Our Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews have done a tremendous job of addressing weather-related road issues throughout our parish today. As of 3:30 p.m., we still have roads posted for the following hazards:
High Water: Billville Road at Tuttle Road in Hammond; River Road at LA 22 in Ponchatoula; Simmons Road near Lanier Road in Loranger.
Trees Down: H.M. Varnado Road, Kentwood; Holloway Road in Roseland; B Alford Road in Kentwood; New Hope Church Road; Old Uneedus Road at LA 40; Verberne Road; Wardline Road at Durbin Road in Hammond; General Ott at Autumn Run Subdivision in Hammond; Grice Road, Kentwood.
Trees/Power Lines Down: S. Coburn Road, Hammond; Lowery Lane near Graham Road in Wilmer; South River Road in Wilmer; Cyprian Road in Loranger; North River Road in Kentwood; Bennett Road in Roseland; M Williams Road, Kentwood; Edwards Road near Traino Road in Robert.
Please do not bypass barricades to travel down posted roadways.
