TPG Road Work: Week of September 2, 2025

KENTWOOD — Soil cement operations were delayed by rain on Friday; therefore, crews have postponed work on Baytown Hills Road until after the Labor Day holiday.
     Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Phase 2025 overlay crews will be off Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day. When operations resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2, crews will be working in the following areas:
  • Shoulder Dressing: Gemstone, Frank, Jaelyn, West Black Cat, Mandella, Perry, West Martin Luther King, South Lewiston, Chappapeela, Briarwood, Lark, and Duncan Avenue;
  • Patching Operations: Brown Road (Village of Tangipahoa), Baytown Hills Road, Company Town, and Johnson Holton Road; and
  • Soil Cement: Baytown Hills Road.
     All work is weather-permitting, and motorists can expect intermittent delays in construction zones.
