UNEEDUS—Finishing touches continue this week on the last of the Phase 22 parish roads scheduled for overlay.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that the contractor will be striping La Polo Farms Road, Bradford Road, East Mulberry Street, Crown Drive, Song of the Forest and Spirit of the Forest, Willie McCoy Road, Company Road, Greco Road, Crapanzano Road, East Merry Street, East Charbonnet, and Wadesboro Road this week.
Crews will continue installing roadside storm drain pipes and catch basins for the Hoover/Sisters Road roundabout in the coming week.
Miller said motorists can expect delays in the area, and he asked that drivers use caution traveling in the construction zone.
At this time, Miller said there is still no update on the anticipated one-day road closure for crews to install cross drains on Hoover Road, just south of the Sisters Road intersection. That project was delayed due to supply chain issues. Miller said updates will be provided on that project as soon as possible.
RPC crews will not be working this week as they await delivery of advanced warning signs and beacons. Those will be installed as soon as they are available.
