PONCHATOULA — Four local roads are scheduled for asphalt patching and two more will see the start of soil cement operations as Tangipahoa Parish’s Phase 2025 road overlay program begins this week.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller says Barriere Construction will start patching asphalt on Brown Road, Green Leaf Circle, Wadesboro Road, and Azalea Drive during the week of March 24. Motorists traveling in these areas can expect intermittent delays while crews are working.
Barriere is also scheduled to conduct soil cement work on Lark Street and a portion of the South I-12 Service Road this week. Miller said motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes while soil cement operations are underway.
All work is weather-permitting, and Miller encourages motorists to use caution while traveling through work zones.
