TPG Road Work: Week of July 21, 2025

Thunderstorms continue to delay soil cement and shoulder work on a number of recently paved roadways across Tangipahoa Parish.
Parish President Robby Miller said Barriere Construction crews have faced weather challenges in completing several of their soil cement and shoulder dressing projects this month.
Weather-permitting, crews are scheduled to perform the following jobs during the week of July 21:
  • Shoulder Dressing: South I-12 Service Road, Whiskey Lane, New Genessee, Arbordale, Chappapeela, Woodstone, and East Park;
  • Soil Cement Operations: Chemeketee Road, Frank Lane, Gemstone Place, and Jaelyn Drive.
Miller said motorists can expect intermittent delays in construction zones.
