PONCHATOULA — As Tangipahoa prepares for the close of the calendar year, finishing touches are being completed on a number of road projects.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will complete pavement striping on Kraft Road, Sisters Road, Wadesboro Road, and Rosaryville Road this Sunday, Dec. 15. Striping crews will operate as a “continuous moving operation,” and motorists may encounter slow-moving traffic and intermittent short delays in connection with these projects.
On Monday, contractors are expected to complete surface treatment operations on Acadiana Place in Loranger. Miller said motorists are encouraged to avoid that area while surface treatment operations are being conducted.
Also on Monday, Dec. 16, tree clearing will resume on the west side right-of-way on North Hoover Road. Clearing operations will begin just south of the Ponchatoula Recreation Park and continue toward LA 22. Crews hope to complete this work by the end of the week, weather permitting.
