PUMPKIN CENTER—Dressing work continues on a number of local roadways during this final week of August.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be putting finishing touches on more than a dozen roads throughout the parish this week. Dressing work does not require closing the roadway, but there may be delays as crews are working in the area, Miller said.
Scheduled for completion this week are: West Dutch, Hickory Drive, George Fisher Road, Cemetery Road, Pecan Allee, Pecan Trace Drive, Twin Lakes, Kellywood Boulevard, Snowball Circle Subdivision, Plum Street, Hollie, Loyd, and Miller Lane.
All road work is weather-permitting. Detours will be posted, as necessary, and Miller encourages motorists to use care when traveling through work zones.
