HAMMOND—Cleaning and sweeping operations continue on several local roadways in preparation for pavement surface treatment during these final days of summer.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Material Resources Inc. will be performing cleaning and sweeping operations on Puma Drive, Van Road, Kraft Road and Rivercrest Drive during the week of August 26.
Cleaning and sweeping work is performed in preparation for pavement surface treatment, which is planned this week on Hinson Road, Redwood Drive, and Puma Drive. All work is contingent on weather conditions.
Miller said intermittent delays can be expected during cleaning and sweeping operations; however, motorists will want to use alternate routes if possible when surface treatments are underway.
