HAMMOND — From patching operations to asphalt paving and all steps in between, the Phase 2025 overlay program will be working on multiple projects during the week of April 7.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Barriere Construction is continuing to progress with multiple operations on the spring overlay program.
During the week of April 7, crews are scheduled to work in the following areas:
- Preliminary patching operations are scheduled on the I-12 Service Road, Old Covington Highway, Wadesboro Road, Azalea Drive, Arbordale Street, West Robert Street, Dennis, and Blackburn Road;
- Milling operations are planned on Happywoods Road, I-12 Service Road, Cottonwoods, Amelia, Webb, North Billville, Crisp Lane, South Pine, East Illinois, and East Park;
- Soil cement work is scheduled on Clover Leaf, Jasmine, and Sweet Olive;
- Asphalt paving is planned on Green Leaf, Lark, Wadesboro Road, Azalea, Happywoods, the I-12 Service Road, North Belleville, and Crisp Lane.
All work is weather permitting, and intermittent delays should be expected. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes, if at all possible.
