HAMMOND—Daniel Laborde of Hammond has been re-elected President of the board of directors for the Tangipahoa Parish Economic Development Foundation for the 2024-25 term.
Laborde chairs the 13-member board who lend their support to Tangipahoa’s economic development efforts.
Dev Patel has been selected as Vice President of the Board while Kristin Braud will serve as Secretary/Treasurer of the organization.
The board recently welcomed Patrick Coudrain, Victoria Hyer, and Brigette Delatte Hyde as their newest members of the board. They join veteran board members Ben Dutruch, Beezie Landry, Parish President Robby Miller, Rhonda Sheridan, School Superintendent Melissa Stilley, Sandy Summers, and Heather Tassin.
3rd Ward Justice of the Peace Tonya Mabry administered the oath of office to the Board.
During the installation, the board offered thanks to outgoing board members Fritz Anderson, Jessica Smith, and Parish Council Chairman David Vial, who dedicated many years of service to the TEDF board.
“We are grateful for the support of our business community and the contributions of our TEDF board in our efforts to encourage economic development in Tangipahoa Parish,” Tangipahoa Parish Economic Development Director Ginger Cangelosi said.
Parish President Robby Miller said, “We are looking forward to a bright future in Tangipahoa Parish, as we continue to prove why we are the best parish in the state.”
