Overview:
- Nicole is currently moving west-west northwestward towards the Florida peninsula. It is forecast to strengthen to a tropical storm later today and generally move westward early this week as it approaches Florida. It is then expected to turn to the northwest late around Thursday or Friday.
Confidence:
- Confidence is high that the largest impacts will remain east of our area.
Impacts:
- This system is not expected to bring any significant impacts to the local area, but should continue to be monitored.
