Overview:
WHAT: MARGINAL RISK of Severe Weather
WHEN: Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening
WHERE: Areas generally along and north of I-10 in Southeast Louisiana and Southern Mississippi including most of Coastal Mississippi.
CONFIDENCE: We are confident there will be thunderstorms across the area. We have little confidence any of them will become severe.
Impacts:
The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:
- Wind gusts greater than 60 mph will be possible
- Trees and powerlines could be damaged and lead to isolated/scattered power outages
