- The threat of severe weather has decreased.
- The area of greatest threat has shifted further northwest.
Overview:
WHAT: MARGINAL RISK of Severe Weather
WHEN: Late Sunday evening into the overnight hours
WHERE: Parts of southwest Mississippi and nearby Louisiana Parishes
CONFIDENCE: We are confident there will be thunderstorms across the area. We have very little confidence any of them will become severe.
Impacts: The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:
- Damaging Winds: Wind gusts greater than 60 mph are possible.
- Large Hail: Large hail of up to 1 inches in diameter will be possible
- Tornadoes: A tornado is possible.
- Rainfall: Rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inch is forecast.
