WHEN: Mainly the afternoon and evening hours Wednesday
WHERE: All of Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Mississippi
CONFIDENCE: We have high confidence that there will be thunderstorms across the area Wednesday. We are less certain of the exact timing and location of storms and if they will reach severe thresholds.
Impacts: The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:
- Damaging Winds: Wind gusts greater than 60 mph are possible.
- Tornadoes: A few tornadoes are possible.
- Rainfall: Some heavy rainfall and intense rain rates could lead to minor flood concerns across the area.
