WHEN: Mainly the afternoon and evening hours
WHERE: All of Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Mississippi
CONFIDENCE:
- We have high confidence that there will be thunderstorms across the area. We have less confidence in any of them becoming severe.
Impacts:
The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:
- Damaging Winds: Wind gusts greater than 60 mph are possible.
- Tornadoes: A few tornadoes are possible.
- Rainfall: Some heavy rainfall and intense rain rates could lead to minor flood concerns across the area.
