WHAT: SLIGHT RISK of severe weather and excessive rainfall Tuesday and again Wednesday.
WHEN: Mainly overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and again Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night.
WHERE: Along and west of a line from McComb MS to Houma LA Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night and all areas Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night
Impacts:
The main threats associated with severe storms on both days will be:
- Damaging wind gusts greater than 60 mph could knock down trees and powerlines.
- Isolated tornados will be possible.
- Large hail is possible.
- Rainfall rates up to 4 inches per hour could cause isolated flooding
