Progress continues on the Roseland Incident Response. Through Thursday morning, we can report the following updates:
Liquid Recovery Totals through Thursday morning include:
**On Site (Oil and Water): 3,180,744 gallons
**On Site (Grease and Water): 9,996 gallons
**Tangipahoa River (Skimmer): 93,261 gallons
**Tangipahoa River (Marco Boats): 71,988 gallons
**Pond D-1: 462,966 gallons
**Pond D-2: 449,274 gallons
**Pond D-3: 314,328 gallons
**Pond C-2: 51,870 gallons
**Hwy 10 Bridge: 71,190 gallons
Total: 4,705,617 gallons recovered to date
To date, 1,180,300 gallons have been shipped off site for disposal.
A rain event occurred early this week at the Smitty’s facility. The system to contain the rainwater worked, and all material was held on site and in the facility ditches.
