Progress continues on the Roseland Incident Response. Through Tuesday morning, we can report the following updates:
Liquid Recovery Totals through Tuesday morning include:
**On Site (Oil and Water): 3,046,974 gallons
**On Site (Grease and Water): 9,996 gallons
**Tangipahoa River (Skimmer): 91,161 gallons
**Tangipahoa River (Marco Boats): 71,568 gallons
**Pond D-1: 454,776 gallons
**Pond D-2: 438,354 gallons
**Pond D-3: 306,138 gallons
**Pond C-2: 51,870 gallons
**Hwy 10 Bridge: 71,190 gallons
Total: 4,542,027 gallons recovered to date
A rain event occurred early Monday evening at the Smitty’s facility. The system to contain the rainwater worked, and all material was held on site and in the facility ditches. Removal of the material commenced this morning, and additional frac tanks are being prepared to assisted in dealing with a larger rain event.
