HAMMOND—Work continues on Thompson Drive near Hammond as the parish’s asphalt patching program continues this week.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the contractor ran into some unexpected issues on Thompson Drive; however, work is expected to wrap up in that area on Monday, weather permitting.
In addition to the Thompson Drive project, contractors are scheduled to do patching work on the following roadways during the week of July 29: Jones Road, South Range Road, Traino Road, North Bunker Hill, Riverdale Heights, and Chappapeela Road
All work is weather-permitting, and intermittent delays are possible while crews are in the area.
