AMITE—After weeks of severe rain delays, work will resume this Friday on Stateline Road in the Kentwood area.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the contractor is eager to get to work on shoulder dressing starting this Friday, April 22, following several weeks of heavy rains and water pooling.
Miller said crews will work Friday and again on Monday, April 25 to complete shoulders early next week. Striping will follow soon after.
In addition to this work on Stateline Road, Miller said parish crews will be working on Friday, April 22, to change out a cross drain on Autumn Drive in Hammond. The construction zone will be located approximately 675 feet from the intersection of General Ott Road and Autumn Drive. The roadway will be closed at that location between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., while work is being completed.
