Proposed Sidewalk Improvements in Ponchatoula

Tangipahoa Parish is partnering with the City of Ponchatoula to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility in areas served by the Tangi Transit public transit system.

The next phase of sidewalk construction is proposed along this area of N. 5th Street and E. Beech Street. These new sidewalks will improve connections to key community destinations, including the post office, community center, basketball courts, baseball fields, and the expanding Elmer’s Candy Factory. A project map is attached for reference.
