Portion of South Airport Road Closed June 2-8 for Repairs Near Sisters Road Roundabout

A portion of South Airport Road is scheduled to be closed during the week of June 2-8 to repair a roadway issue just north of the Sisters Road roundabout.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will close a portion of South Airport between Aiden Road and the northside of the Sisters Road roundabout starting on Monday, June 2.
Miller said crews will fix “settling” in the roadway at the drainage crossing just north of the roundabout.
Beverly Construction crews are assigned to complete the repair, which could be completed in less than the number of days allotted, depending on weather conditions.
Message boards have been posted along the route, and detours will be in place during the construction period.
