In response to the declared State of Emergency issued by the State of Louisiana due to COVID- 19, the Tangipahoa Parish Government Housing Office will implement the following procedures to serve our clients and landlords.
**Tangipahoa Parish Government Housing (TPGH)**
TPGH has limited access to the public to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We will maintain contact with clients/landlords via phone, email, mail, and fax.
TPGH will mail or email Housing Choice Voucher annual recertification packets to clients. Phone interviews will be conducted with clients.
TPGH will send documents to tenants/landlords via electronic signature. All other paperwork will be excepted back via fax, email, mail, or clients can use drop box.
TPGH has suspended all annual inspections at this time.
TPGH will conduct inspections on new units where no one is living in the home. Providing the landlord agrees to meet staff at the property. This will be done on a case by case basis.
TPGH will conduct telephone interviews for new voucher eligibility.
TPGH will conduct virtual briefings with clients when necessary.
