TPG Road Work: Week of September 15, 2025

LORANGER — Work is scheduled to begin this week on East and West Prevost Lane.

 

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Barriere Construction crews are scheduled to begin the process of scarifying and compacting the roadbed on East and West Prevost Lane toward the end of the week.

 

This is a continuation of the Phase 2025 overlay program. Miller said crews have completed approximately 90 percent of the projects planned for this cycle.

 

During the week of September 15, work is scheduled in the following areas:

 

  • Shoulder Dressing: South Lewiston, Lark, New Genessee, Briarwood, Trabona, West Black Cat, Frank, West Martin Luther King, and Perry;
  • Paving Operations: North Peckerwood;
  • Scarifying and Compacting Roadbed: East and West Prevost Lane.

 

All work is weather-permitting, and motorists can expect intermittent delays in construction zones.
