Community Meeting: Hano Road Improvement Project

A community meeting has been scheduled for all residents of Hano Road and other interested citizens to discuss improvements aimed at making Hano Road safer for travel.

The meeting will be held at God’s Faith Ministry, located at 360 Hano Road, Independence, LA, on March 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

Representatives from Tangipahoa Parish Government and the design engineer will be present to address questions and hear concerns from the community.

This important project has been in development for several years and has finally become a reality. Through the hard work and dedication of many individuals, funding has now been secured through the Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program to complete the first phase of this road widening project.

Please help spread the word about this important meeting.

If you have any questions, please contact Tangipahoa Parish Councilman Louis Nick Joseph at (985) 320-5784 or Kevin Greer at (985) 634-0706.
