PONCHATOULA—Morgan Drive off of LA 22 in Ponchatoula will be closed during the workday on Friday so crews can replace a cross drain.
Parish President Robby Miller said Tangipahoa road crews will be resetting the cross drain on Morgan Drive starting at 8 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 21. Miller said the work should be completed no later than 3 p.m.; however, traffic will be restricted from traveling in that area during the construction work.
The Morgan Drive project is one of several roads that will be worked on this week. The parish’s contractor plans to pave Sandy Acres, Wadesboro Road, Coates Road, Wood Road, Blythwood Boulevard, Bella Gardens, Aububon, and Ott Lane during the week of Oct. 17.
Other Phase 22 projects planned this week include soil cement on Bella Gardens Circle, Ott Lane, Riverdale Heights Road, Brignac Road, Bradford Lane, Wilson Road, and Song of the Forest.
Dressing work is planned on Greco Road, Mayeaux, Crapanzano, Cannino Road, East Merry, Nicholas, Blaire Boulevard, Kayla, Penny, and North and East Charbonnet Road.
RPC crews will be milling and paving Sisters Road this week. They are also working on driveway aprons on Happywoods, Rufus Bankston, North Baptist, and Wardline Roads.
All work is weather-permitting. Any related closures will be posted on the day of construction.
