AMITE — A portion of Mixon Road will be closed today for maintenance work.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said a portion of Mixon Road east of Amite will be closed on Monday, Nov. 10, so that crews can replace a cross drain.
Miller said the work zone will be at a location approximately 3,500 feet from the intersection of Friendship Church Road and continuing down Mixon to the location of the cross drain.
Miller said work is planned between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Detours will be posted, and no through-traffic will be allowed in the construction zone.
