WHEN: Mainly late morning into the afternoon thru early evening.
WHERE: All of southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Coverage of showers and storms will be limited today, mainly isolated to scattered with not everyone seeing rain. However, storms that do develop may become locally strong or severe.
IMPACTS: The main threats associated with any severe storms will be
- Damaging Winds: Locally strong, possibly damaging winds of 40 to 60 mph;
- Large Hail: Small hail mainly possible, with some potential for large hail up to one inch in diameter in any severe storms.
