Overview:
WHAT: MARGINAL RISK of Severe Weather
WHEN: Primarily during the day on Friday and into the evening hours.
WHERE: Generally along and south of a line from near Baton Rouge, LA to Angie, LA.
CONFIDENCE:
Currently, we have low confidence in the potential for strong to severe storms.
Impacts:
The main threats associated with any locally strong to severe severe storm will be:
- Locally strong wind gusts 40 to 60 mph will be possible which may lead to scattered wind damage and/or local power outages.
- A few isolated, weak tornadoes will be possible.
- Large hail possible.
