For tomorrow: Areas of Southeast Louisiana around Lake Pontchartrain and Maurepas and Coastal Mississippi
CONFIDENCE: We are confident hot temperatures and high humidity will occur today and tomorrow and could quickly lead to heat illness if precautions aren’t taken.
Impacts: Heat index readings are forecast to climb above 108 degrees for multiple hours, and as a result, heat illness can occur quickly.
