GOSHEP – Update – June 03, 2020

Due to the current forecast and impending impacts of Tropical Storm Christobal, all Community Based Testing Sites (CBTS – Drive thru) and Mobile Testing Unit Sites throughout the state will be suspended for the period of Sunday (7 June 2020) thru Friday (12 June 2020).    These are only the testing sites that are being planned and supported by GOHSEP and LANG.

The current support provided by LANG is expected to be repurposed for storm support as well as the need to secure the RV’s, tents and other equipment being used during this period is imperative.

This does NOT include any fixed facility (Nursing Home; prison; etc.) that is currently testing under other programs.

Please distribute this information to the general public using your current methods to ensure that the citizens of Louisiana are made aware of the suspension and are aware that testing will resume (pending heavy recovery efforts) on Sunday 13 June 2020.      Please take your current schedule for the week of 7-12 June 2020 and slide it back by 7 days and republish the revised schedule.

I am not sure just pushing the schedule back will work so I am asking each EOP DIrector to ensure testing sites will be available if we slide the schedule back a week.  I will publish an updated slide with the numbers showing the updated test results but below are the numbers for today.  BG Bossetta .
