News

• Free Coronavirus Testing – It was announced that free coronavirus testing will be available at multiple sites across New Orleans, Metairie, and Slidell.  Testing will be available this week, Tuesday through Friday.  To view a full list of announced sites, click here.
• Flattening the Curve – New Orleans and Louisiana continue to make strides in flattening the coronavirus curve.  According to Dr. Joseph Kanter, with the Louisiana Department of Health, the state has become “a model for how to flatten the curve.”  You can read more here.

• Unemployment FAQ – GNO, Inc. has produced an FAQ that answers unemployment questions, including how businesses can keep employees working while still allowing them to collect the $600 federal unemployment insurance.  You can find the FAQ here.
• LSU Online – LSU Online, the virtual learning branch of the university, has new opportunities available to help individuals and families as they work to rebuild in wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
