PONCHATOULA—Maintenance work that was scheduled earlier this month on Floyd Lavigne Road in Ponchatoula has been rescheduled for this Monday.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said road crews will close Floyd Lavigne Road off South Thibodeaux between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., on Monday, November 21. Detours will be posted.
Heading into Thanksgiving week, Miller said crews will be working on Phase 22 overly projects as noted below:
*Dressing: Milan, Naples, Kayla, Penny, North and East Charbonnet, Crown, Sandy Acres, Wadesboro, Coates, Ott Lane, and Audubon Drive;
*Soil Cement: Riverdale Heights, Brignac, Company Road, Rhodus, Hillburn, Song of the Forest;
*Striping: Greco, Mayeaux, Crapanzano, East Merry Street, East Charbonnet, Wadesboro, and Crown Drive.
RPC crews continue to work on temporary striping on Sisters Road and rumble strips on Rufus Bankston, Wardline Road, and Sisters Road.
All work is weather-permitting. Any related closures will be posted on the day of construction.
