Due to Hurricane Francine, the Capital Area Agency on Aging will not be delivering meals to the Senior Centers in Tangipahoa Parish on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, or Thursday, September 12, 2024.
As a result, all Tangipahoa Parish Council on Aging Services including Senior Centers, home-delivered meals, and transportation will be closed until Friday, September 13.
This closure impacts Tangi Transit public transportation, as well as the Hammond and Ponchatoula city bus routes.
Weather-permitting, services will resume on Friday, September 13.
