HAMMOND — Tangipahoa Parish Government, in collaboration with the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) and the Stephenson Disaster Management Institute at LSU, invites residents to a public meeting to learn about the Tangipahoa Parish Hazard Mitigation Plan and the planning process for the 2026 plan update.
The meeting, scheduled for Thursday, June 5th, at 9 a.m., will be held at the Tangipahoa Parish Government Clausen Building, located at 15485 W. Club Deluxe Road, in Hammond. The purpose of the meeting is to inform residents about the Hazard Mitigation Plan update process and gather valuable community input on natural hazards affecting the parish.
