Phase 2025 overlay crews will be concentrating on soil cement operations, asphalt paving, and milling operations during the week of May 5.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Barriere Construction is making continued progress with multiple operations on the spring overlay program.
During the week of May 5, crews are scheduled to work in the following areas:
- Soil cement operations are scheduled for Woodstone Drive, Pardo, and Gemstone Place;
- Asphalt paving will be placed on Blackburn, Dennis, Shaffer, Calvary, North Billville, West Robert, East Illinois, East Park, South Pine, Briarwood, and Arbordale;
- Milling operations will begin on Briarwood, Arbordale, Whitmar, East Illinois, South Pine, East Park, Oak Hollow, and Holly;
- Shoulder dressing will continue on Old Covington, Crisp, Gatlin, Lark, Azalea, Dennis, Blackburn, Sweet Olive, Jasmine, Clover Leaf, Amelia, Cottonwood, and Webb.
All work is weather permitting, and intermittent delays should be expected. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes, if at all possible.
