TPG Road Work: Week of April 28, 2025

HAMMOND — School is back in session this week, and the parish’s Phase 2025 road work is moving full speed ahead.

 

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Barriere Construction is continuing to make progress with multiple operations on the spring overlay program.

 

During the week of April 28, crews are scheduled to work in the following areas:

 

  • Preliminary patching operations are scheduled on Calvary, Shaffer, Briarwood, Sweet Olive, Clover Leaf, Jasmine, Oak Hollow, New Genessee, Holly, and Whiskey Lane;
  • Soil cement work is scheduled on Whitmar;
  • Asphalt paving is planned on Sweet Olive, Jasmine, Clover Leaf, Shaffer, South Pine, East Illinois, East Park, and Arbordale;
  • Shoulder Dressing will continue on South I-12 Service Road, Cottonwood, Webb, Amelia, Gatlin, Crisp, Wadesboro, Azalea, and Old Covington Highway.

 

All work is weather permitting, and intermittent delays should be expected. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes, if at all possible.
