TPG Road Work: Week of April 1, 2025

PUMPKIN CENTER—As the Northshore prepares for warmer temperatures this week, road overlay crews are gearing up for a busy week of asphalt patching, milling, and soil cement projects in South Tangipahoa Parish.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller says Barriere Construction will start patching asphalt on Lark Road, Azalea Drive, Happywoods Road, Webb Road, Amelia Drive, Cottonwood Drive, Gatlin Road, North Billville Road, Crisp Road, South Pine Street, and East Illinois Street during the week of April 1. Motorists traveling in these areas can expect intermittent delays while crews are working.

In addition, milling operations are scheduled on Brown Road, Wadesboro Road, Azalea Drive, Happywoods Road, Cottonwood Drive, Webb, Amelia Drive, and North Billville. Paving is expected to follow on Brown Road, Green Leaf Circle, Lark Road, and Wadesboro Road.

Motorists should expect intermittent delays during patching, milling and paving operations. Soil cement operations will begin on a portion of South I-12 Service Road, Old Covington Highway, Jasmine Drive, Clover Leaf and Sweet Olive Drive. Miller said motorists should avoid cement operations if possible.  All work is weather-permitting.
