WHAT: SLIGHT RISK of Severe Weather
WHEN: Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning.
WHERE: All of southern MS and along and north of I-10/12 in southeast LA.
CONFIDENCE:
- Uncertainty exists regarding exact timing of when the strong to severe thunderstorms will impact our area.
- There is high confidence in numerous storms developing Sunday but low confidence at this time of where or when the best time for any severe storms.
Impacts:
- Damaging wind gusts greater than 60 mph
- Large hail
- A few tornadoes possible
- Heavy rainfall with training storms will be possible Sunday with rainfall totals up to 2 inches possible.
