PONCHATOULA—Paving operations continue as this week’s Phase 2023 overlay project moves into high gear in Tangipahoa Parish.
Parish President Robby Miller said crews have scheduled half a dozen local roadways for paving this week.
This week crews plan to pave Twin Lakes Boulevard, Kellywood Boulevard, Snowball Circle, Hollie Lane, Loyd, and Miller. The projects call for full-width paving, so motorists can expect delays in those construction zones.
Also, the following roads are scheduled for dressing work during the week of August 14: Jolane Drive, Lynwood Road, Schafer, Kay Drive, Happywoods Drive, West Dutch Lane, Hickory Drive, South Magnolia Street, 2nd Avenue, Cherie Drive, Burton Street, Iever, M.C. Moore Road, George Fisher Road, and Cemetery Road.
All road work is weather-permitting. Detours will be posted, as necessary, and Miller encourages motorists to use care when traveling through work zones.
